British deaths equal Falklands in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Defence has announced the deaths of two British soldiers serving in Afghanistan, meaning the number of British troops killed in the Afghan conflict has reached the same toll as the Falkland Islands conflict 28 years ago.
The soldiers died in an explosion while on foot patrol near Sangin, in Helmand Province. They belonged to the Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Their deaths take the British military toll to 255 since 2001.
