| New head of Architecture at British Council |

Vicky Richardson, editor of Blueprint, is set to join the British Council as director of architecture, design and fashion.
Richardson, who has been at Blue print for nearly six years, will join in March, taking over from Catherine Ince and Alison Moloney, who have been acting co-directors of the team since Emily Campbell’s departure in October 2008.
Campbell, former head of design and architecture, left to join the Royal Society of Arts as director of design.
Richardson has said: "It’s such an exciting role. On the one hand there is the opportunity to showcase what is best about design and architecture in Britain, and the other side is looking around the world at the exciting work happening there." |
